Inspired by one of my daughter’s favorite songs by Brandon Lake, she loves the line, “I didn’t come here to hide in the crowd...”
I painted a creek full of rocks, but there’s one rock that stands out and shines with a touch of gold that begins to reflect onto the others.
No matter how fast and hard the water rushes by, it’s a reminder to stand firm in our faith and let God’s light shine through us, even when life gets tough. When we stay strong and reflect His light, we help others see the Lord’s love and the hope He brings.
Matthew 5:16 says it best: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
